2008 witnesses the 60th
anniversary of the foundation of World Health Organization (WHO) and the 30th
anniversary of the announcement of Almaty Declaration. Sponsored by World
Health Organization, China Ministry of Health and China State Administration of
Traditional Chinese Medicine and hosted by WFAS, WSMI, FIP and WFC, “2008 WHO
Congress on Traditional Medicine” will be held in Beijing in November 2008,
aimed at enhance the role of traditional medicine, reviewing the achievements
made by assembly members in this field, and promoting assembly countries to
integrate traditional medicine into their national medical insurance system.
Invitation for Papers
1) Content
(1)Acupuncture for
preventing diseases; (2) the application of acupuncture in rural areas,
impoverished regions, and urban communities; (3) legislature and
standardization of acupuncture; (4) mode and content of modern education of
acupuncture and research methods; (5) modern research of acupuncture; (6) Clinical
assessment of therapeutic effect of acupuncture; (7) theories of moxibustion
and new technologies and development; (8) progress of the therapy of
acupuncture-moxibustion; (9) research and development of medical appliance of
acupuncture.
2) Requirements
The abstract of a paper
should be less than 800 words in both English and Chinese. Objectives, Methods,
Results and Conclusion should be included in the paper. An unpublished paper is
preferred. Please attach the author’s name, title /position and working
organization /institute, contact means, including post mailing address, post
code, telephone number and email. And please submit by email.
No revision fee for
papers of the symposium.

会、世界自我药疗产业协会、世界药学会、世界整脊联盟协办，“2008年世界卫生组织传统医学大会”将于2008年11月7-9日在中国北京隆重召开。
论文征集
现代针灸教育的模式、内容与方针灸立法与针灸标准化、规范化；针灸在农村、贫困地区与城市社区中的应用；
(1)征文内容：针灸在预防疾病中的作用； 针灸医疗器械的研发。针灸治疗方法的新进展；灸法的理论研究与技术发展；针灸临床疗效评价体系的研究；针灸现代化研究；
法研究；
(2)征文要求：应征论文应未曾公开发表，为800字以内的中/英文摘要，以目的、方法、结果、结论形式撰写。投送时，请务必写清作者姓名、职称、工作单位、联系地址（邮政编码）、联系电话、电子邮箱。请以E-mail方式提交。不收审稿费。
